We want to thank all of the individuals who contributed this fall to support the MHTA Foundation’s STEM programming as part of Give to the Max day or at the Tekne Awards Gala. With those generous donations, we are just over $20,000 away from our goal! With your help, we can reach our goal of $100,000 to help us support worthy students in pursuing a career in science and technology. It’s not too late to make a donation to our scholarship fund before the end of the year!

Every year, the MHTA Foundation is supporting students through our STEM scholarships and hands-on experience like our Tech Experience Tours, communicating the need for STEM-educated college graduates, and partnering with the local science and technology community to build strong connections and resources.

Over the past ten years, the MHTA Foundation has awarded STEM scholarship totaling $600,000 to 150 undergraduate students from 28 Minnesota educational institutions. We have some wonderful students with amazing stories of their successes and the challenges they face in making their career dreams come true. Check out this year’s scholars here.

Since May of 2015, 600 students have participated in our Tech Experience Tours, where we work with area companies to provide tours for students interested in learning more about STEM careers. We anticipate another 300 students will get to participate in a Tech Experience Tour during the current school year. Learn a little more about the students served and the companies visited here.

With your help, we can make the goal to serve these young people a reality. Donate today!
