MHTA fuels Minnesota's prosperity through innovation and technology.
Education
Minnesota will be home to nearly 200,000 technology jobs in the next decade. While these workers have the potential to make far more than the average private sector wage, they will also need additional training to prepare for high-tech careers. MHTA and its sister organization the Minnesota High Tech Foundation (MHTF), are actively involved in developing and promoting STEM education to Minnesota students and their families.
MHTA and MHTF were recently awarded a state grant to administer the SciTechsperience Internship Program. This is Minnesota's paid internship program focused on STEM fields of study. Other programs include mentorship and apprenticeship opportunities and scholarships for students pursuing STEM degrees at Minnesota colleges and universities.
