Humphrey plans Education Innovation series
MHTA – The University of Minnesota Hubert H. Humphrey School of Public Affairs, in conjunction with its partners, is presenting a series of event focus on education innovation. The series will explore ideas for bringing innovation to education through collaboration, planning and action. Each event will act as a launching point as part of a larger process of developing positive change in education.
State gains jobs in February
MHTA – Minnesota employers added 6,200 jobs in February, according to figures released by the Minnesota Department of Employment and Economic Development (DEED). The state has added 32,300 jobs in the last three months and regained more than half of the 156,300 jobs that were lost during the recession.
U’s medical device conference expands innovator focus
MHTA – The University of Minnesota is preparing to host the world’s largest medical device conference April 10-12 on campus at University Hotel Minneapolis. The gathering will include multiple technical and scientific sessions along with workshops focused for new medical innvoators.
Bonding & tax bills advance
MHTA – MHTA’s hard work this session is beginning to bear fruit. Many of the provisions MHTA is advocating were included in the omnibus bills that emerged last week.
