MHTA – Best Buy Company has named an interim CEO following the resignation of Brian Dunn. Mike Mikan, who is a board director, will lead the company while a search for a new CEO is underway. Richard Schulze, the founder of Best Buy, continues to serve as chairman.

Legislators look to end session
MHTA – Despite Minnesota legislators’ best efforts to adjourn this week, it is looking less likely that they will complete their work prior to the Easter/Passover break. This is good news for many of the initiatives included in MHTA’s legislative agenda because it means there is a greater opportunity for them to be included in final bills that are sent to the Governor.
U of M collaborates on Census database
MHTA – A collaboration between the University of Minnesota and Ancestry.com will create the largest database of detailed information about people and their households ever made available for scientific research.
