Proposal Preparation Courses
MN-SBIR is the State’s qualified resource for America’s Seed Fund – the Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) and the Small Business Technology Transfer (STTR) programs provide competitive awards-based resources that enable small businesses to develop new technologies and facilitate the commercialization of innovation. MN-SBIR’s proposal preparation course assists eligible startup and small businesses in understanding and completing the SBIR/STTR application process to all federal agencies.
National Institutes of Health SBIR/ STTR Proposal Preparation Course*
This proposal preparation course is intended to help new and/or previously unsuccessful small businesses submit a competitive SBIR/STTR application to the NIH for the Sept. 5, 2018 or Jan. 5, 2019 application dates.
DATES: June 7, June 14, June 21, and June 28 1 p.m. – 5 p.m. **
COST: Free – You must be accepted into MN-SBIR’s Phase 0 Technical Assistance Program to attend. *Apply here.
PRESENTER: Ms. Pat Dillion, MBA, Director, MN-SBIR, and several experts who will present on marketing, customer discovery, value proposition, federal cost account, indirect cost rate determination, SBIR IP rights, industry and university research agreements, technology transfer, etc.
LOCATION: The Proposal Preparation Courses will be held in the Parlour Room, Fueled Collective (formerly CoCo) 4th floor of the Grain Exchange Building, 400 South 4th St., Minneapolis. Parking: Use the Gateway Ramp, 400 South Third St., Minneapolis and receive a $6 parking voucher for the day.
