Governor Tim Pawlenty invited MHTA President Kate Rubin and IBM Director of Worldwide Systems Samuel Prabhakar to dine with him at the Governor's Mansion.
Governor Pawlenty recieved a lift from "Team Ecolab" (high school students) after the team's victory over "Team Media" as part of a Knowledge Bowl competition moderated by the governor at the 2006 State Fair.
